Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruy Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes of play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gernando Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arjen Robben couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when VfL Bad Nenndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armand Callahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Miguel Lito was substituted for Gernando Azevedo. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Luís Paulo do Nascimento replaced Fortunato Froněk. After 91 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Armand Callahan. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Christopher Reimann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Bad Nenndorf from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
