In the 12th minute Alfred Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Zima scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ivarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Rallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Daniele, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lucas Rallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Vulcano in the 20th minute. Universitario de deportes were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Calenzano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Olaechea took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Olsson got free with Lucas Rallo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Universitario de deportes's Lucas Rallo got control of the ball when Alfred Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Morgan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 42 played minutes Universitario de deportes got a freekick which was hit by Roman Zima. Adrianinho Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Rallo having to interfere. Lucas Rallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Lucas Rallo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when J.P. Morgan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alfred Olsson made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Rallo. Universitario de deportes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Calenzano made a substitution. Comunardo Chizzo replaced Ennio Daniele. Felix Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Universitario de deportes's Roman Zima. But to his dismay, Roman Zima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Roman Zima struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Felix Ivarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universitario de deportes. If Yaniusky Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Universitario de deportes made a substitution. Hugo Saboya replaced J.P. Morgan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Matteo in the 75th minute of play forced Universitario de deportes's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calenzano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Achille Sciamanna in the 76th minute. Calenzano's Achille Sciamanna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Rallo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Saboya in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Ivarsson saved Calenzano from getting behind. Felix Ivarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Morley in the 90th minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Hugo Saboya from a close distance when the talented Felix Ivarsson managed to make a qualified save. Calenzano's players were relieved.
