Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Blomkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Liberland's Vito Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 18th minute of play. When Peter Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Blomkvist in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Rezende saved Liberland from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Venancio Ascencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 28th minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Vito Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Vigil made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Hulki İmdat. Peter Blomkvist took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Rezende. Vito Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 57 played minutes Liberland got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Vigil. In the 59th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. Liberland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Enekoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Enzo Elizardo replaced Antonio Alzamendi. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Fernandinho Rivera was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Ilazki in the 66th minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Vito Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Elizardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vito Rezende. Liberland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Baldomero Ilazki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Vito Rezende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Abeitia in the 77th minute of play. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Ilazki in the 80th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Liberland's Nicasio Abad threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saturnino Abeitia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Ilazki in the 85th minute of the match. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Abeitia in the 89th minute of play. Enrique Nikola made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jacinto Rosio immediately put the ball in play. Baldomero Ilazki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
