An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Buczko in the 7th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Florin Susara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Simões came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid's Liu Ke Yu. But to his dismay, Liu Ke Yu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Buczko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Simões was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Real Madrid were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after MarquinhosEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liu Ke Yu took the corner. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Fulgencio Fero got a free kick in the 29th minute. Zézinho Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Buczko's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Esteban Beti made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Inácio Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Buczko in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Beti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Susara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro do Valle came free, but Esteban Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Alessandro do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Beti. Real Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbigniew Buczko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zézinho Simões made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zbigniew Buczko sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Alessandro do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Beti. Real Madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões got control of the ball when Wilbert Montoya tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilbert Montoya in the 63rd minute. Zbigniew Buczko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zézinho Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Burowski in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zézinho Simões saved MarquinhosEC from getting behind. Esteban Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mateusz Hajduk hit a great ball. Esteban Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Freitas in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Ulisses de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liu Ke Yu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Zézinho Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
