The coaching staff of Real Madrid protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wiktor Naumowicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Denti della Vecchia booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Naumowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Kornatowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Tolek Kornatowski made a great header on Denti della Vecchia's corner, it was just that Real Madrid's Esteban Beti managed to reach the ball for a save. Kurtuluş Sadir scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Beti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Heide in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Setz saved Denti della Vecchia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Ke Yu in the 41st minute of play forced Denti della Vecchia's goalkeeper Lars Setz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denti della Vecchia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liu Ke Yu was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Madrid's players had a chance to rest. Mateusz Heide made a great header on Real Madrid's corner, it was just that Denti della Vecchia's Lars Setz managed to reach the ball for a save. Real Madrid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liu Ke Yu in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Liu Ke Yu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denti della Vecchia's Lars Setz did a great save. In the 44th minute, Denti della Vecchia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mateusz Hajduk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbigniew Buczko made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Zbigniew Buczko shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Lars Setz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 56th minute Zbigniew Buczko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Setz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denti della Vecchia's Tolek Kornatowski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Madrid. 60 minutes into the game, Real Madrid's Liu Ke Yu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Setz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 69 played minutes Denti della Vecchia got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Marin. Real Madrid's Zygmunt Burowski was substituted for Mateusz Heide. After 71 played minutes Denti della Vecchia got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Marin. After recieving a nice pass, Real Madrid's Liu Ke Yu tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Burowski in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Setz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esteban Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurtuluş Sadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Wilbert Montoya hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Zbyszko Galaska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the game, Wilbert Montoya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lars Setz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Real Madrid's Liu Ke Yu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Denti della Vecchia. After a rather tough play, Denti della Vecchia's Inocencio Marin got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Zygmunt Burowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Madrid had won after a very even match.
