The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Capivara FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neycho Mudrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neycho Mudrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neycho Mudrov took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Boldu. Jose Boldu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Zoil Pequeño dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Péter Pálffy, 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Deportivo ScrugenFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capivara FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoil Pequeño was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neycho Mudrov took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Boldu. Doriva Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jose Boldu made a huge save. Jose Boldu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. In the 88th minute Leobardo Padierna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Pálffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fortun Bobes hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Manoel Garrincha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Boldu skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Capivara FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo ScrugenFC.
