After taking down the ball on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner Kacem von Felten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haşim Batüralp quite easily take care of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Raido Pulver came free, but Maciej Wieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maciej Wieck made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Raido Pulver sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kings's zone, Gwidon Pilitowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Batüralp came out of the goal and Gwidon Pilitowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Zawisza Bydgoszcz were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristopher de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Kings's Bob Grammet managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Şoimu in the 93 minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zawisza Bydgoszcz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
