Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ladislao Harriet started the match with the kick off. When Fernandão Recife came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandão Recife couldn't finish the play. Ronaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 4th minute of the match. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Olavo Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Malvin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Empire of Soccer's attentive Hernán Grana managed to snatch the ball when Norberto Tande made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Passos to maneuver through the defense. When Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montevideo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute Empire of Soccer were awarded a corner. Gerson Cruzado went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronaldo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ronaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 37th minute of play. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Norberto Tande hit a great ball. Ronaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Sandberg in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Cruzado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laerte Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Ronaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. The Empire of Soccer fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hernán Grana hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Fernandez in the 57th minute of the match. Zeca de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Empire of Soccer's Uriel Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Matorin in the 64th minute of play. Ronaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. After 70 minutes Montevideo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerson Cruzado who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gerson Cruzado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldo Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ladislao Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Cruzado came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Empire of Soccer were awarded a corner. Gerson Cruzado went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 84th minute, Gerson Cruzado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 86th minute of play. Laerte Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Uriel Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet. But to his dismay, Ladislao Harriet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Empire of Soccer walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
