The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florencio Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Noguera in the 5th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Perez in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Terra came free, but Florencio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Terra in the 21st minute of play forced El coca fc's goalkeeper Florencio Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Claudio Noguera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Pilgren. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Pilgren should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El coca fc booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Siralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to El coca fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Silvano Porfirio hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattijs Robijns came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Alagoano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Jardel Van Landschoot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

51 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Perez came free, but Florencio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. In the 61st match minute, El coca fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Baleren to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes, Jenipapo SC's Guga Tavares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Osasun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jenipapo SC reached it. In the 64th minute Claudio Noguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Noguera in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Haroldo Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Pilgren made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fernando Noguera sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Noguera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Karl Pilgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El coca fc's Daniel Garais was substituted for Lorenzo Paul. Karl Pilgren came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by El coca fc's Jardel Van Landschoot. But to his dismay, Jardel Van Landschoot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mattijs Robijns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
