Girona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhuo Jun Yong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Beckers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Girona FC were awarded a corner. Iván Salgado went to the cornerflag to take it. Girona FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Bin Shevchenko scored to the left of an out of position Lastur Murcia, making the score, 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Gdaniec to strike the kick off in the second half. Fluffy White Bunnies's Alisson Beckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Gdaniec in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Häll in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lastur Murcia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Hardo Kaarna in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Girona FC's Jüri Haiba.
