Baraxil Sarrate came out of the goal and Alexander Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Bennvar Nickler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joos Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Tans short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Baraxil Sarrate to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joos Teurfs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Södertälje's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Cerezo in the 42nd minute. After taking down the ball on Real Södertälje's corner Reynaldo Cerezo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joos Teurfs quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
