Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ulryk Nakoneczny got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Meade came free, but Felipe Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Tião Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Club Atlético Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Wonder to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz got control of the ball when Agustín Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Leizaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Felipe Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes Montevideo City Torque's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Steve Wonder who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joaquin Mitxel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler did a great save. Luis Chaime's late challenge caught a Montevideo City Torque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Chaime helped the player get up and apologised. Montevideo City Torque's Berdaitz Coyences was substituted for Agustín Álvarez. After 23 played minutes Club Atlético Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Luis Chaime. Berdaitz Coyences recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Talleres's Aldo Matro got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berdaitz Coyences got free with Felipe Ekaitz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Meade in the 27th minute of play. When Cristian Leizaur came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Montevideo City Torque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Leizaur couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Felipe Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berdaitz Coyences. Club Atlético Talleres's attentive Torrey Matthews managed to snatch the ball when Gu Sha Zhen made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Club Atlético Talleres's Tião Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reuben Meade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Ekaitz having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Wonder came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Talleres's Luis Chaime got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Luis Chaime off the ground. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Montevideo City Torque's Cristian Leizaur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Felipe Ekaitz. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berdaitz Coyences stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Ekaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkestis Papadopulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Benito Gallegos kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Ulryk Nakoneczny came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Club Atlético Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulryk Nakoneczny couldn't finish the play. Felipe Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Meade in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reuben Meade in the 65th minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Felipe Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berdaitz Coyences in the 67th minute of play. Felipe Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Meade in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute Reuben Meade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Montevideo City Torque's Berdaitz Coyences nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Ekaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cristian Leizaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Meade came free, but Felipe Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Ekaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reuben Meade went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berdaitz Coyences in the 89th minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Felipe Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Reuben Meade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo City Torque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Felipe Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Meade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
