Lucas Villanueva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Lucas Villanueva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christophe Troxler was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 16th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Gallegos to maneuver through the defense. Clube Esportivo Saudade's Rafa Morado got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Christophe Troxler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wei Chuan Xuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Meade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gonzo Montaña seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gonzo Montaña the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Esportivo Saudade protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gonzo Montaña had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wei Chuan Xuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Leizaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Figueroa came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Bilbo Zafrilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christophe Troxler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Agustín Álvarez made a precise shot to the right of Wei Chuan Xuan. Clube Esportivo Saudade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bilbo Zafrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Christophe Troxler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Álvarez got free with Wei Chuan Xuan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner. Cristian Leizaur went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Montevideo City Torque's corner Alkestis Papadopulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wei Chuan Xuan quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Meade came free, but Wei Chuan Xuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Wei Chuan Xuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reuben Meade. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Figueroa in the 68th minute of play. Clube Esportivo Saudade's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafa Morado in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Rafa Morado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christophe Troxler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Reuben Meade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Wei Chuan Xuan made a huge save. Wei Chuan Xuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Montevideo City Torque were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Clube Esportivo Saudade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Leizaur took the corner. The corner led Montevideo City Torque's Cristian Leizaur to fire away a dangerous shot which Wei Chuan Xuan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wei Chuan Xuan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Agustín Álvarez sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
