In the 17th minute, Beto Márcico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, CORSARIO's Elia Petito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erwin Pellicer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Erwin Pellicer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Petito in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute CORSARIO were awarded a corner. Beto Márcico went to the cornerflag to take it. 27 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Erwin Pellicer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elia Petito. CORSARIO's Mendoza Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 29th minute of play. Elia Petito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Erwin Pellicer made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Petito came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Joao Hincapié hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Guillem Casanoves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Pellicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 42 in the game by Elia Petito from a close distance when the talented Erwin Pellicer managed to make a qualified save. C.A. GUAYACO's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on CORSARIO's corner Beto Márcico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erwin Pellicer quite easily take care of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Guillem Casanoves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CORSARIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillem Casanoves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erwin Pellicer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Petito's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Petito in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Pellicer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57thth minute of the game Jimmy Estopinal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CORSARIO's Mendoza Vall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A. GUAYACO were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after CORSARIO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Caborredondo took the corner. The corner led C.A. GUAYACO's Rodrigo Caborredondo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mendoza Vall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Petito came free, but Erwin Pellicer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joao Hincapié hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mendoza Vall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marino Grazia in the 95th minute. Jimmy Estopinal succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CORSARIO fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. GUAYACO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
