The audience was convinced that Gavino Luar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Hilmi Uyaralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Xing Tian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gavino Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Luar in the 18th minute of play forced Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Luar in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zhuang Xing Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güneş Süleyman in the 26th minute of the match. Zhuang Xing Tian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilmi Uyaralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Zhuang Xing Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Luar in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy saved Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. from getting behind. A collision led to Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mehmet Besim hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Besim during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Besim. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuncay Baba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gavino Luar came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Loco Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Luar couldn't finish the play. Hilmi Uyaralp scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhuang Xing Tian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Luar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Team FC's Nerio Barreiro was substituted for Nicolas Agerbo. The corner led Loco Team FC's Eric Vandenberge to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Loco Team FC's José Sand. But to his dismay, José Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eraldo Serantoni in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when José Sand came free, but Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Loco Team FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
