The corner led 27 de Mayo's Ponce Cruzado to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bielejewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Barrionuevo in the 38th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Falcão Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Barrionuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Charamut came free, but Falcão Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Grasshoppers Klucze were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pedro Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Falcão Leme made a huge save. 27 de Mayo's Falcão Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Imbor in the 66th minute of play. 27 de Mayo's Alex Castro was substituted for Bebeto Branco. 74 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Charamut came free, but Falcão Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugon Imbor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Castro in the 89th minute of play. Falcão Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Imbor, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Grasshoppers Klucze could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 27 de Mayo throughout the match.
