After 9 minutes Grasshoppers Klucze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Arixo who took care of the corner kick. Fernando Arquett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kacper Charamut in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett got control of the ball when Kacper Charamut tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Grasshoppers Klucze's Fernando Arquett threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugon Imbor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 22nd minute of play. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Jayvier came free, but Tanek Bielejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mercado Paulista F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonathan Arixo in the 28th minute. Fernando Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Charamut in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Ryszard Smuskiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Arquett. Ryszard Smuskiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Smuskiewicz in the 38th minute of play. Sebastian Jayvier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Smuskiewicz got free with Fernando Arquett in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Charamut in the 44th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Fernando Arquett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Arixo to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Hugon Imbor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grasshoppers Klucze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercado Paulista F.C the free kick. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Grasshoppers Klucze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Imbor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Jayvier was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Arquett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Charamut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco de Sena to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mustafa Kemal Acaröz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Kemal Acaröz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Arquett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Tanek Bielejewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grasshoppers Klucze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Arixo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. Mercado Paulista F.C's Jonathan Arixo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Bielejewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Long Sen Yang charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Long Sen Yang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grasshoppers Klucze getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Long Sen Yang hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Long Sen Yang got a free kick in the 94th minute.
