Peace Home Street Boys's Per-Oskar Hedberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Giammarino in the 5th minute of play. Per-Oskar Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Arósio in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Wiktor Strömqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Silvio Bazil however easily saved by the left post. After 12 played minutes Peace Home Street Boys got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Matos. Karl Holmberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Per-Oskar Hedberg. Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Verner Wahlnäs came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvio Bazil could save by the left post. Enrico Giammarino might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Oskar Hedberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrico Giammarino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Giovanni Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Bazil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onurhan Çinuçin in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onurhan Çinuçin in the 35th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Peace Home Street Boys got a corner. Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Bålström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enrico Giammarino took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Oskar Hedberg. Per-Oskar Hedberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Giammarino to make the kick off. Silvio Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Peace Home Street Boys's Wiktor Strömqvist in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Despite this Silvio Bazil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 82 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Onurhan Çinuçin came free, but Silvio Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Giammarino got free with Per-Oskar Hedberg in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peace Home Street Boys's Kayacan Müjdat was substituted for Verner Wahlnäs. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
