Theo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme McRobie, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Berntzen in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesse McJames saved Smiddy Celts from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jesse McJames successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Berntzen in the 18th minute of play. Jesse McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Digre in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Berntzen in the 22nd minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Jesse McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Emil Berntzen made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jesse McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Berntzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Paddy Thomson hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jesse McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Berntzen in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emil Berntzen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesse McJames was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Gordon came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Graeme McRobie made the kick off in the second half. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Berntzen in the 52nd minute of play. Paddy Thomson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, Anderson Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Λstral Villains FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smiddy Celts the free kick. After a rather tough play, Λstral Villains FC's Anderson Zonta got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme McRobie in the 59th minute of play forced Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes Λstral Villains FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Connor Murdoson who took care of the corner kick. Jesse McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Digre in the 62nd minute of play. Graeme Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme McRobie in the 70th minute of the match. Smiddy Celts made a substitution. Tommy Gunn replaced Mbadiwe Mpenza. Λstral Villains FC's Lars Holand was substituted for Emil Berntzen. Theo Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graeme Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paddy Thomson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Holand came free, but Jesse McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Leon Digre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Λstral Villains FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak to maneuver through the defense. Many of Smiddy Celts's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Smiddy Celts may have spent more time on the ball, but Λstral Villains FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
