In the 20thth minute of the game Marco Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pendex's Ruperto Nayely was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes Vikingos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gogo Crescencio who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, David Šácha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pendex's supporters rose to their feet, but David Šácha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastián Sosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Šácha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Sosa having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Sayvion came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Marco Cantona made the kick off in the second half. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. If Marco Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruperto Nayely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. David Šácha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Rosendo Estevez replaced Aurelio Urtats. Pendex's Nemesio Isusko was substituted for Ryan Keuppens. Nemesio Isusko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sebastián Sosa made a huge save. In the 89th minute Alejandro Tena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pendex booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Tena didn't get a good kick on the ball.
