With a little luck, Habsburgo's Lennart Kempeneers got control of the ball when Vaggelis Pavlidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jerzy Marchefka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Pilarski was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Vaggelis Pavlidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Kempeneers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Marchefka came free, but Bogdan Pilarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Pilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Furtado took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Pilarski. Bogdan Pilarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vęgoria Team were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Habsburgo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emre Demir took the corner. The corner led Vęgoria Team's Emre Demir to fire away a dangerous shot which Lennart Kempeneers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Fabian Hansson came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Habsburgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Hansson couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerzy Marchefka to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Vaggelis Pavlidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Habsburgo's Lennart Kempeneers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Fiszer in the 65th minute of play forced Habsburgo's goalkeeper Lennart Kempeneers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Vęgoria Team got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Ikalewicz. Habsburgo's Victoriano Iraunkor was substituted for Jerzy Marchefka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Fiszer in the 85th minute of play forced Habsburgo's goalkeeper Lennart Kempeneers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Iraunkor in the 86th minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Pilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Justo Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Pilarski having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
