With a little luck, Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal got control of the ball when Rune Rundhaug tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Brenna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Owsiak in the 17th minute of play. Waldemar Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Rundhaug's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Alfred Owsiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voyager Soccer Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Voyager Soccer Team's zone, Rune Rundhaug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Quintal came out of the goal and Rune Rundhaug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Brenna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Rundhaug in the 34th minute of the match. Waldemar Quintal came out of the goal and Rune Rundhaug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Alfred Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Brenna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Owsiak to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Voyager Soccer Team booed when mixednutz XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sæterdal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
