Nicolás Tauber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Rundhaug in the 19th minute. Basilio Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Rune Rundhaug blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás Tauber having to make a save. Rune Rundhaug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nicolás Tauber made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Yuan Yuan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Brenna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Nicolás Tauber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Rundhaug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZ Fénix's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rune Rundhaug was slow to take the kick. During this time mixednutz XI's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rune Rundhaug got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolás Tauber quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Rundhaug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Vladimiro Granja got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Fénix's zone, Rune Rundhaug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Tauber came out of the goal and Rune Rundhaug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Erik Brenna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygantas Petrošius in the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to mixednutz XI getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Øyvind Torkelsen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, mixednutz XI's Thomas Edland got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Thomas Edland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MZ Fénix eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
