Isaias Perojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Barbosa in the 3rd minute of the match. Isaias Perojo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lance Veloz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Isaias Perojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Perojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Lewandowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Genaro Elivareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ariel Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Genaro Elivareo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaias Perojo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Cecilio Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Isaias Perojo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaias Perojo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 38th minute, Vânderson Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Perojo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when León Careaga sent off a good shot on target. In the 49th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. DALO S.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Abuba Akotonon FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Emanuel Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo got control of the ball when Genaro Elivareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zernin Alcega hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jerzy Lewandowski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Genaro Elivareo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Isaias Perojo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abuba Akotonon FC. After 65 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Perojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute of the match, Vânderson Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaias Perojo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Elivareo in the 76th minute of play. Isaias Perojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Elivareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Lode Van Hemel kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Ramón Garay replaced Vânderson Barbosa. Genaro Elivareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaias Perojo having to make a save. 98 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Garay came free, but Isaias Perojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
