Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 3rd minute of play. Valentin Rydberg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 4thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Moisés Arruda would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Moisés Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Billberg in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Kalle Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Runa United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bo Eriksson in the 19th minute. The corner led to Runa United's Frank Brogren getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Runa United's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo de Souza came free, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Billberg in the 28th minute of play. Moisés Arruda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Eriksson in the 30th minute. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. Nils-Erik Åhlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Rydberg in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Arruda saved Poetass FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Lu Nan Yu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Valentin Rydberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Billberg made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rydberg came free, but Moisés Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Poetass FC defense, Frank Brogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Arruda. The Poetass FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Arruda should have stopped the shot. The Runa United fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Runa United's Valentin Rydberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70thth minute of the game Valentin Rydberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Matthias Lundin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda did a great save. 76 minutes into the match, Runa United's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Åhlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Billberg. Valentin Rydberg struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Moisés Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runa United. In the 82ndth minute of the game Valentin Rydberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gerson Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Runa United's Bo Eriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Carioca to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Valentin Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runa United's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Rydberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Runa United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poetass FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
