Predador Brasiliense MZBR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernani Tavares ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Montesclarense E.C.'s José Alejandro Giménez to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor Damas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Vítor Damas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wally Lawson in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Valdo Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard de Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Paes came free, but Edgard de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Predador Brasiliense MZBR were awarded a corner. Hélio de Amorim went to the cornerflag to take it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Sobral made a kick off. In the 68th minute Camerino Lavalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camerino Lavalle in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard de Almeida saved Montesclarense E.C. from getting behind. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélio de Amorim in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Hélio de Amorim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute, Camerino Lavalle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Predador Brasiliense MZBR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
