Mike van Zeijl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Oliverio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Mike Zoetmulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Bermund got free with Mike Zoetmulder in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Bermund made a kick off. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Pelgrims's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Quirze was slow to take the kick. During this time MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MANCHITA ES LA TUYA 9-12's corner Hector Quirze fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Zoetmulder quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Mike van Zeijl tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Angelo Oliverio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mathias de Ruijters short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Angelo Oliverio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st minute, Huub Gerrits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Mike Zoetmulder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Bartuelo in the 77th minute of play. The De Pelgrims fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when De Pelgrims's Mathias de Ruijter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Angelo Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike van Zeijl in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. De Pelgrims had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
