The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurito Boselli in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Panin saved YR☆ Village Superstars from getting behind. Alex Moschetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Maurito Boselli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of YR☆ Village Superstars's Aurelian Panin. Aurelian Panin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matei Chelaru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Andrei Dincă got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edwardo Piñeros. Aurelian Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurito Boselli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurito Boselli in the 19th minute of play forced YR☆ Village Superstars's goalkeeper Aurelian Panin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurito Boselli scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelian Panin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurito Boselli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Panin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Montesacro Utd's Maurito Boselli made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Panin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gheorghe Huțupan during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Gheorghe Huțupan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Maurito Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Panin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Mutu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Biagio Cera made a huge save. After the first half Montesacro Utd were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Montesacro Utd's Teodoro Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurito Boselli had several of the YR☆ Village Superstars's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Aurelian Panin as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurito Boselli got free with Aurelian Panin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, YR☆ Village Superstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Huțupan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Montesacro Utd booed when YR☆ Village Superstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Huțupan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurito Boselli in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Panin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biagio Cera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matei Chelaru went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Montesacro Utd's Maurito Boselli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Panin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Maurito Boselli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Aurelian Panin made a huge save. Maurito Boselli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Panin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Amadeo Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Maurito Boselli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maurito Boselli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. YR☆ Village Superstars's Aurelian Panin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurito Boselli in the 96th minute of play. Montesacro Utd's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
