The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Vic Angelsø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

FC Chorchoj's Alois Selinger was substituted for Zdeněk Zápotocký. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Chorchoj's Vic Angelsø was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vic Angelsøs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Jairo Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jairo Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Chorchoj's Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Fonseca. That made the score 0-7 after 64 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Durval Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dyllen Reijnders kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jairo Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vic Angelsø in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the game, FC Chorchoj's Vic Angelsø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 91st match minute, Clube Atlético Luziense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Secco to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Vic Angelsø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Jairo Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Chorchoj's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
