In the 5th minute Hardi Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tosun Paşa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Moonen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Dundee's Ain Averin got control of the ball when Tosun Paşa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ain Averin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosun Paşa in the 22nd minute of play. Javier Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaido Jaas in the 24th minute of play. Tosun Paşa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ain Averin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosun Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ain Averin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Tosun Paşa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosun Paşa in the 42nd minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ain Averin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Ivo Elu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Venancio Victoro came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Vaqueteros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Victoro couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

FC Dundee made a substitution. Edvin Hargi replaced Kaido Jaas. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Luuk was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 황 to maneuver through the defense. 김 황 kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Riivo Ess's late challenge caught a Vaqueteros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Riivo Ess helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Riivo Ess hit a great ball. The supporters of Vaqueteros FC booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 황 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ain Averin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ain Averin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaqueteros FC's Tosun Paşa. But to his dismay, Tosun Paşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vaqueteros FC's Fikret Uluğ was substituted for Tosun Paşa. Fikret Uluğ hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Javier Tono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ain Averin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikret Uluğ in the 78th minute of play. Javier Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Luuk in the 81st minute of play. FC Dundee's Arno Luuk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Javier Tono in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ain Averin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Florian in the 86th minute of play. Ain Averin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Fikret Uluğ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vaqueteros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vaqueteros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Dundee had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
