In the 14th minute Eder Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Yong Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Richmond Van Glabeeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabadim Harammes PRD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pes Torto in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Richmond Van Glabeeke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gong Yong Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eder Lopes in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's goal looked a bit too open when Pes Torto came free, but Gong Yong Nan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gong Yong Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Castelo Branco in the 30th minute of play. Matia Climent might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matia Climent ran back to his position shaking his head. Gong Yong Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eder Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The Puerto de Sagunto CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sabadim Harammes PRD were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richmond Van Glabeeke was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pes Torto in the 56th minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Gong Yong Nan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gong Yong Nan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pes Torto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richmond Van Glabeeke might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richmond Van Glabeeke took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Cunha. Mauro Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabadim Harammes PRD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Puerto de Sagunto CF.
