Gerardo Arce was slow to take the kick. During this time Reko-Recko 03™'s players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svali Bollason made a kick off. Reko-Recko 03™'s attentive Leandro de Almeida managed to snatch the ball when Leandro Gervaso made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svali Bollason. In the 61stth minute of the game Jose Abar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turgut Talha came out of the goal and Svali Bollason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svali Bollason. Reko-Recko 03™'s Cipriano França was substituted for Gerardo Arce. Reko-Recko 03™'s Abel de Almeida was substituted for Gilmar Prestes. In the 76th minute Reko-Recko 03™ were awarded a corner. Cipriano França went to the cornerflag to take it. Vacid Nefer might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelino Nueva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vacid Nefer ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Nefer in the 80th minute of the match. Angelino Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Nefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Turgut Talha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svali Bollason in the 83rd minute.
