After a defensive mix-up in Champions Iasi's zone, Lech Cipinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Lauria came out of the goal and Lech Cipinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Kosowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazimierz Kosowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Pál-Szabó's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zbyszko Niedzwiecki could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Frank Lauria however easily saved by the left post. In the 32ndth minute of the game Róbert Pál-Szabó who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOLIBER OCYPEL's Kazimierz Kosowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Pál-Szabó couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Róbert Pál-Szabó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Kosowski was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kutlu Kayral got free with Frank Lauria in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kutlu Kayral to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Róbert Pál-Szabó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Kosowski was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Róbert Pál-Szabó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Luka Katana was substituted for Kutlu Kayral. In the 78th minute Arkadiusz Raszkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Lauria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Lauria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Raszkiewicz went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KOLIBER OCYPEL's Waldemar Buczak got a free kick in the 80th minute. Kazimierz Kosowski was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Róbert Pál-Szabó capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Róbert Pál-Szabó really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Iustin Coporan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kazimierz Kosowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 90 played minutes KOLIBER OCYPEL got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Buczak. Frank Lauria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Raszkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Róbert Pál-Szabó in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kazimierz Kosowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kazimierz Kosowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Coporan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The KOLIBER OCYPEL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Champions Iasi's performance. The match ended with a win for Champions Iasi.
