The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Petros Mousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Emiliano Ellande hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Feliciano Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Fresco took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferruccio Borrelli. Ferruccio Borrelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ferruccio Borrelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Fresco in the 21st minute of the match. Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Mousa in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tiburones Rojos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Pacifico was slow to take the kick. During this time INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. Tiburcio Pacifico made a great header on INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's corner, it was just that Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli managed to reach the ball for a save. Erubiel Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Sesuldo in the 31st minute of the match. Emiliano Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Erubiel Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Ferruccio Borrelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petros Mousa. In the 39th minute INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Pacifico went to the cornerflag to take it. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Tiburcio Pacifico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferruccio Borrelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 44 minutes, Feliciano Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiburones Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tiburones Rojos's Rigoberto Araoz was substituted for Emiliano Ellande. 52 minutes into the game, Feliciano Sesuldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Erubiel Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Xiang Guang in the 56th minute of play forced Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Ferruccio Borrelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferruccio Borrelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gao Xiang Guang in the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Petros Mousa. In the 74th minute, Humberto Santo made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Hernandez. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Cao Yue Zheng kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Cao Yue Zheng in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cao Yue Zheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tiburones Rojos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from taking control.
