After 15 minutes AFC United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cai Jun Wei who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cai Jun Wei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC United's Lei Bin did a great save. Enzo Del Pizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andries De Putter in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries De Putter in the 19th minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Enzo Del Pizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Del Pizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolly Salisbury made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC United's Fryderyk Maurycy. 31 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Enzo Del Pizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andries De Putter. JEMBer UTara's Enzo Del Pizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 34th minute of play. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 36th minute of play. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Firman Siagian hit a great ball. JEMBer UTara's attentive Ren Dang managed to snatch the ball when Fryderyk Maurycy made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andries De Putter to make the kick off. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Hidayat in the 55th minute of play. JEMBer UTara's Cai Jun Wei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lei Bin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Enzo Del Pizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andries De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. JEMBer UTara were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after AFC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cai Jun Wei took the corner. Enzo Del Pizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Ferraz in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lei Bin. Lionel-Andrés Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's Lionel-Andrés Messi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lei Bin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dudu Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Del Pizzo having to make a save. Enzo Del Pizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of JEMBer UTara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AFC United:s goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the JEMBer UTara players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC United.
