With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toni Godinho in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ask Stamnes saved Boulogne F.C. from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Godinho got free with Ask Stamnes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boulogne F.C.'s Ask Stamnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match U21 Angola got a corner. Boulogne F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Ezequiel Niz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 24 minutes, Toni Godinho made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Boulogne F.C.'s Ask Stamnes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Custódio Teive showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Trentini, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Toni Godinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ask Stamnes having to make a save. Boulogne F.C.'s Ask Stamnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Tiso to maneuver through the defense. Ask Stamnes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Toni Godinho sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Toni Godinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ask Stamnes. Boulogne F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Godinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 40th match minute, U21 Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Pegacho to maneuver through the defense. U21 Angola's Custódio Teive played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Trentini in the 42nd minute of play. Carlos Caneças kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Godinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Trentini took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Custódio Teive. Custódio Teive dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, U21 Angola's Carlos Caneças sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ask Stamnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Boulogne F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Donato Trentini. Ask Stamnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Godinho went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Ask Stamnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Godinho in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Mauricio Tano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Custódio Teive, 4-2. In the 74th minute Mauricio Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Teive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, U21 Angola's Toni Godinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ask Stamnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Trentini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Teive showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Tano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 88 played minutes U21 Angola got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Gonçalves. Donato Trentini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boulogne F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing U21 Angola to leave the ground with a draw.
