Dimitris Rodanakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Salas went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Samuel Etoo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Rodanakis was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 17 minutes, Manos Kapriniotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MICE F.C. and the Predators players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tümer Gülsoy in the 27th minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Rodanakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Rodanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gylippus Nikolakakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, MICE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraklis Mortensøn to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Samuel Etoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Rodanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Predators's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Puskás. In the 42nd minute, Memphis Lundquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Tümer Gülsoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dimitris Rodanakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MICE F.C.'s Dimitris Rodanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Predators were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikitas Staboulidis was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, MICE F.C.'s Dimitris Rodanakis got control of the ball when Marcelo Salas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Samuel Etoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Çakır Yağızbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Rodanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MICE F.C.'s Dimitris Rodanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Etoo in the 69th minute of play. Predators's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gylippus Nikolakakos in the 70th minute. The corner led Predators's Lucien Vercalsteren to a score. 0-3 in the 70th minute. After 73 played minutes Predators got a freekick which was hit by Gylippus Nikolakakos. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Puskás in the 74th minute of the match. Predators's Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikitas Staboulidis in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Predators getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pankracy Kossakowski hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Gábor Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Gábor Puskás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Predators's Andoni Zubizarreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 79 minutes, Gábor Puskás made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Predators's Andoni Zubizarreta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dimitris Rodanakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Åke Lindström in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MICE F.C.'s zone, Samuel Etoo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Rodanakis came out of the goal and Samuel Etoo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Tümer Gülsoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Rodanakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After 95 minutes MICE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gylippus Nikolakakos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Predators's corner Karl-Åke Lindström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dimitris Rodanakis quite easily take care of the ball. After 97 minutes MICE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gylippus Nikolakakos who took care of the corner kick. 98 minutes into the game, Çakır Yağızbay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimitris Rodanakis. Çakır Yağızbay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6.
