The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Haegg got free with Thanasis Papadimitriou in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjy Muller in the 7th minute. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adama Traoré in the 9th minute of play. Wilfredo Henríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Robert Haegg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Thanasis Papadimitriou made a huge save. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Haegg in the 18th minute of play. Robert Haegg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Thanasis Papadimitriou made a huge save. Thanasis Papadimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Haegg in the 23rd minute of play. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adama Traoré in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Daniel Isăceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanasis Papadimitriou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Henríguez in the 36th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Dalberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Robert Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Haegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Hermes Zambrano was substituted for Heraclides Quirós. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Robert Haegg made the kick off in the second half. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Per-Åke Browald replaced Guaberto Matro. Thanasis Papadimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Jaen in the 66th minute of play forced ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goalkeeper Xie Bang Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xie Bang Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Jaen in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Tonni Bynge got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute, Emilio Gonzales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Papadimitriou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Emilio Gonzales scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xie Bang Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Jaen in the 82nd minute of play. Xie Bang Ang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonni Bynge in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Gonzales in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Papadimitriou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanasis Papadimitriou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilio Gonzales's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Thanasis Papadimitriou came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales. But to his dismay, Emilio Gonzales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Sapardi Sopandi replaced Alberto Jaen.
