A hard shot 6 in the game by Arturo Brownell from a close distance when the talented Hélio Arósio managed to make a qualified save. Marshrose's players were relieved. Wilfried Henselmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derrick Osborne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Marshrose's Hélio Arósio got control of the ball when Arturo Brownell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osdorp FC's Wilfried Henselmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walker Bird in the 13th minute of play. Amédée Gillis scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilfried Henselmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Marshrose's Heath Akins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfried Henselmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Marshrose's Hélio Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦树扬 in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Porro came free, but Hélio Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Arturo Brownell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Derrick Osborne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Henselmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Brownell got free with Hélio Arósio in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heath Akins came free, but Wilfried Henselmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Osdorp FC booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walker Bird didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Marshrose were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Brownell to make the kick off. When Wim Zuidam fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osdorp FC's protests and gave Wim Zuidam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Osdorp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Dijkstra to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Arósio came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Osdorp FC's Pedro Porro. But to his dismay, Pedro Porro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derrick Osborne. Heath Akins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfried Henselmans having to interfere. Jack de Koning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, 麦树扬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ty Dijkstra hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Derrick Osborne, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hendrik Heida kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Brownell in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jack de Koning sped through Marshrose's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio Arósio. Osdorp FC made a substitution. Gerwin Aerts replaced Arturo Brownell. Osdorp FC's Douwe de Haan was substituted for Wim Zuidam. Hélio Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Porro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amédée Gillis came free, but Wilfried Henselmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Marshrose players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Osdorp FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
