Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Opilano in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Carlos Mei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Galtero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Eleder was slow to take the kick. During this time Loco Cabezon's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 24th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Rogelio Abajas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lyle Coppack saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely from getting a goal against them. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mei in the 30th minute of the match. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Stolniceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Carlos Mei sped through Loco Cabezon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Galtero. With a little luck, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack got control of the ball when Nemesio Opilano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Ariando made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rogelio Abajas immediately put the ball in play. In the 42nd minute Carlos Mei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Perico in the 44th minute of play. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Abajas to make the kick off. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mei in the 52nd minute of play. If Rogelio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Mihăiţă Stolniceanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 62nd minute of the match Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely got a corner. Loco Cabezon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ediberto de Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ferdinand Zmărăndache to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonides Galtero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mei in the 66th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Mei came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mei in the 79th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 80th minute of play. Esteve Perico took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lyle Coppack. Lyle Coppack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lars Flinck was substituted for Vlad Graur. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Eusebiu Ipătescu was substituted for Ferdinand Zmărăndache. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes Loco Cabezon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fábio Vieira who took care of the corner kick.
