La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Åhman in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilvan Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benny Bur having to make a save. With a little luck, Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur got control of the ball when Gilvan Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcus Allbäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Lago was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Gilvan Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Bur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Lago made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Allbäck. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Allbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Società Sport Osasco's Ferenc Puskás was substituted for Chen Jian. In the 64th minute, Antonio Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Åhman in the 73rd minute of play. Fredrik Moberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho Lago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Moberg ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when La Società Sport Osasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Gilvan Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Sledgehammer KO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Società Sport Osasco.
