Kilian Mbappè started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Quirino. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Matheus Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Kilian Mbappè who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Al-Femur FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Al-Femur FC's Kilian Mbappè looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Vasco in the 20th minute of play. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Femur FC's Kilian Mbappè. But to his dismay, Kilian Mbappè quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Kilian Mbappè managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Femur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Mbappè was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Al-Femur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Sousa came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vascogoianiense FC defense, Kilian Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Leite. The Vascogoianiense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Leite should have stopped the shot. In the 40thth minute of the game Kilian Mbappè who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelsinho Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kilian Mbappè's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Gipuzkoa in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Quirino. Vascogoianiense FC's Leszek Chwalkiewicz was substituted for Edmílson Fernandez.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus Neto made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vascogoianiense FC's zone, Kilian Mbappè stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal and Kilian Mbappè tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Aírton Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Mbappè, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aírton Sousa in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hansjörg Wastl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Al-Femur FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aírton Sousa was slow to take the kick. During this time Vascogoianiense FC's players had a chance to rest. Al-Femur FC's Victorino Vimaro was substituted for Pang Xing. When Al-Femur FC's Kilian Mbappè in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vascogoianiense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Aírton Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nelsinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Chuse in the 80th minute of play. Aírton Sousa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Vascogoianiense FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 4-1 became the score in the 87th minute when João Pirani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Sousa in the 91st minute of play. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Chuse in the 94th minute of play. Al-Femur FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
