The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jupiter Siemiatycze's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Velasco came free, but Dobromir Klawki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mohamed Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Friday Sobota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Edelmiro Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dobromir Klawki having to make a save. Dobromir Klawki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Velasco in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, one of Jupiter Siemiatycze:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 44th minute Jason Asselberghs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Friday Sobota was the one to do the kick off. Jupiter Siemiatycze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ian Lööf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ian Lööf made a great header on The Pontiac Bandit's corner, it was just that Jupiter Siemiatycze's Dobromir Klawki managed to reach the ball for a save.
