When Joel Emeterio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riesgo Cero's protests and gave Joel Emeterio a yellow card for diving instead. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Nofre in the 13th minute of play. Haldun Mahir got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santo Damario. In the 16th minute, Pastor Nofre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Vladimirescu. The goal made the score 1-0. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Van Dijck got free with Cristian Vladimirescu in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmacio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubilay İmge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Cristian Vladimirescu managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Tello AFC's Jorge Orkatz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Dziczek in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's Abel Lain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lech Biskupiak to make the kick off. Santo Damario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dalmacio Pello firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Riesgo Cero defense, Pastor Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. The Riesgo Cero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Vladimirescu should have stopped the shot. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Nofre came free, but Cristian Vladimirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tello AFC made a substitution. Uriel Cordearo replaced Jorge Orkatz. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Donato Odilon hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Faustino Unax sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Vladimirescu skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Pastor Nofre notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu. Cristian Vladimirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Uriel Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes Riesgo Cero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faustino Unax who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Lain in the 78th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Tello AFC's Pastor Nofre in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Riesgo Cero's Donato Odilon got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Nofre in the 93rd minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Cordearo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Vladimirescu saved Riesgo Cero from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Riesgo Cero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tello AFC.
