Aloísio Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Mesquita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 10 played minutes Minotauro got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Lima. The crowd rose to their feet as 27 de Mayo's Zézinho Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aloísio Mesquita. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 14th match minute, 27 de Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponce Cruzado to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Rossi in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Minotauro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ponce Cruzado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in 吴常响 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Minotauro's Aloísio Mesquita did a great save. In the 23rd minute, Zézinho Rossi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aloísio Mesquita. The goal made the score 3-0. Aloísio Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Rossi in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zézinho Rossi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zézinho Rossi scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aloísio Mesquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes in the game, Tiago Corrêa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aloísio Mesquita having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

51 minutes into the game, Zézinho Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Aloísio Mesquita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiago Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Mesquita having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zézinho Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aloísio Mesquita was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Tiago Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aloísio Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Aloísio Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erramu Chute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Zézinho Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 27 de Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zézinho Rossi took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Mesquita. Aloísio Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 80 minutes into the match, Zézinho Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aloísio Mesquita. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 84th minute, Zézinho Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Mesquita. Minotauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Aloísio Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Rossi's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Rossi came free, but Aloísio Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 27 de Mayo fully deserved thier win.
