EoDu Uai Sôccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Yan Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olívio Saldanha hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Paulo Mello fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrenta SC's protests and gave Paulo Mello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of EoDu Uai Sôccer booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino de Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Nestor Carioca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Paiva came free, but Nestor Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Luiz Fábio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Messias in the 88th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Yan Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Barrenta SC's Joel Sabóia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yan Barreto. Yan Barreto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Yan Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Messias in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Barrenta SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EoDu Uai Sôccer throughout the match.
