Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Claudinei Tasso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Ruy Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 27 de Mayo the free kick. In the 5th minute, Zézinho Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Reynaldo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Rossi in the 9th minute of play. Tiago Corrêa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Beto Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Netto. When Jorginho Mello came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Mello couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in 27 de Mayo's zone, John Gallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Soberano came out of the goal and John Gallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponce Cruzado didn't quite understand what happened when in the 29 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Zézinho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's attentive Jorginho Mello managed to snatch the ball when 叶勇博 made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Mello in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Netto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, John Gallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Soberano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Netto's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes 27 de Mayo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Júlio Netto who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Reynaldo Velasco got control of the ball when Zézinho Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorginho Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 de Mayo's Jarne Vrancken was substituted for Zézinho Rossi. In the 74thth minute of the game Júlio Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 27 de Mayo's Rogério Soberano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Claudinei Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Jorginho Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Severo came free, but Reynaldo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The 27 de Mayo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 27 de Mayo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
