The crowd rose to their feet as Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Barnaba Kolba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Farid Mondragon. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Farid Mondragon was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Barnaba Kolba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnaba Kolba really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Batıkan Muhsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Türkeş Akşit's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barnaba Kolba got free with Farid Mondragon in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farid Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Andırın SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was slow to take the kick. During this time Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th minute Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were awarded a corner. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp went to the cornerflag to take it. Barnaba Kolba might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Farid Mondragon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnaba Kolba ran back to his position shaking his head. Andırın SK's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Kolba in the 40th minute of play. Türkeş Uğuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Batıkan Muhsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Türkeş Akşit was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Wang Jun Ning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Barnaba Kolba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Mondragon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Andırın SK's Naci Tansu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hasan Tahsin Polatalp in the 61 minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Barnaba Kolba notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Andırın SK's Farid Mondragon. Farid Mondragon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Batıkan Muhsin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp got a free kick in the 75th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batıkan Muhsin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute of the match, Batıhan Saik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Batıkan Muhsin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 88 minutes into the game, Tenyo Tikvanov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mustafa İzzet Hazer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
