Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 60 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Bertassi. Desiderio Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Radomir Kochanowicz took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marcelo Gröhe to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Souto to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Milanese came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Gröhe could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on Kekambas FC's corner Alexander Alberico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Gröhe quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Fernando Lucas got a free kick in the 97th minute. Marcelo Gröhe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexander Alberico.
