The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Jump got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig Svanberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Astreix&ObelixSoccer's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Stig Svanberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 24th minute of play. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Astreix&ObelixSoccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Svanberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. With an all-out effort, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Pankracy Glogowski threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jasper Jump, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute, Marcos Berdoi made a precise shot to the right of Ian Little. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
